Ans1Moina wanted to catch a snake because her family ate snakes.
Ans2. The author dragged Moina back because she was trying to catch a large snake. Cobra is poisonous and could have harmed Moina.
Ans3. Sabars eat snakes.
Ans4. Moina didn't want to rest because she had many things to do like bring the Babu's goats home, collect firewood, fetch water and lay the trap for birds.
Ans5. Moina didn't want to thank the Babu for the rice because she fid many jobs for the Babu. So, if he had sent the rice, there was no reason to thank him
Ans6. Moina's mother was lame, her father had gone to Jamshedpur in search of work and her brother collected firewood in the forest. So, Moina had to work to support her family.
Ans7. When she was a child, Moina would tell the village children whatever she had learnt from the author. When she was eighteen, she started teaching at the Samiti School.
Hots Ans1Moina wanted to come and stay with the author because firstly, she liked the author because the author cared for her. Shewas eager to learn and could learn a lot from the author.
Ans2. Yes, the author marvelled at Moina's capacity to ask questions. She loved answering her questions and was happy that a tribal girl was  learning  so many new things so well.
Ans3. The argument was about the school hours. The schoool worked from 9 to 11am. Moina could come to schoool only after 11 as she had to graze the Babu's goats in the morning.She wanted to learn and if there was nobody to teach , how could she learn? So she wanted the school hours to be changed.
